Boone County Youth Soccer Association
We're here to have fun and play soccer. Our mission is to teach the game to
everyone involved, coaches, players, officials, parents, grandparents and
others and to have fun doing it. We work to teach the lessons of good
sportsmanship, fairness, commitment, responsibility and team spirit to all
our players.

Soccer registration for the BCYSA fall
2009
|
Spring 2010
Coach meeting |
Players need register on time, it helps them
to be placed on the team they want to be on and it also helps the league
in calculating how many coaches we will be needing for the upcoming
season. Players signing up to play after the deadline, relinquish their
right to play on their previous team and will be placed on teams where
players are needed. Also, when the league becomes full, registrations
will not be accepted and players may be turned away.
Just a reminder, this is a recreational soccer league and solicitation
and selecting of players by coaches is NOT allowed.
All in-person sign ups will be held at Central Park in the shelter that
is located near field number 4.
The sign up schedule is as follows:.
September 19 (Saturday), 10:00am-4:00pm
September 20 (Sunday), 2:00pm-5:00pm
September 26 (Saturday), 10:00am-4:00pm
September 27 (Sunday), 2:00pm-5:00pm

Coaches,
Believe it or not the spring soccer season for the BCYSA is right around
the corner and it is time for our mandatory U8-U14 coaches’ meeting. The
meeting date will be: Tuesday, March 2, at 6:00PM. All coaches must
attend, if you cannot make it, you must send a representative for your
team. You will receive your official rosters, paperwork, and your
practice fields will be assigned by a lottery at this meeting. Game
schedules will be emailed to the coaches at a later date. The only way
to get a practice field, is to be at this meeting. As always, Adele will
have other tidbits of information to pass our way. |

Tim Potts 1/10/64 – 3/9/08 |
End of Spring
2008 season party huge success! |
|
Tim Potts, a long time coach in BCYSA, passed away suddenly on March 9th,
2008. Tim, who’s daughters compete on St. Paul Panthers teams, was a
devoted father, husband, coach and friend. All who came in contact with
him through BCYSA knew Tim to be the epitome of what a youth soccer
coach should be – a friendly competitor and dedicated coach who always
placed the needs of the athletes first, while maintaining the highest
level of sportsmanship. The sympathies of the entire BCYSA community
are extended to the Potts family.
